On July 16th, 2019, the Patent Reexamination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office of China released the declaration of invalidation No.41009 on its official website that proclaimed the patent claims of Patent No. 200980103594.6 are all invalid. The invalidated patent is named “Mobile Device Roaming Solution and System” which was granted to Shenzhen Siboweiersi Technology Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SIMO”) was licensed exclusively to Shenzhen Skyroam Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SKYROAM") in 2015.

Based on the declaration of this invalidation, the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court can legally reject the lawsuit filed by SIMO and SKYROAM for the patent infringement prosecution of Shenzhen uCloudlink Technology Ltd. ("OUR COMPANY") and Guangzhou Taikoo Hui branch of Shenzhen Sundan Chain Store Co.,Ltd.
